1. Visit Lotte World – The Ultimate Theme Park Adventure

If you’re a fan of theme parks, a visit to Lotte World is a must! This huge theme park boasts an indoor section (perfect for rainy days) and an outdoor area filled with rides, kid-friendly attractions, and fun performances and parades.

📍 Location: Jamsil Station. Take Subway Line 2 or Line 8 to Jamsil Station, exit 4 or 7. You can also take a taxi or bus.

2. Explore the Children’s Grand Park

This free family-friendly park is great for a relaxing day out if the weather is nice! It features a zoo, botanical garden, large playgrounds, and some great walking trails perfect for kids to explore.

📍 Location: Children’s Grand Park Station. Take Subway Line 7 to Children’s Grand Park Station, exit 1. You can also grab a taxi or bus.

💰 Cost: Free, but you do need to make a reservation online before you turn up. Otherwise you will potentially be denied entry.

If your kids love hands-on activities, this museum is packed with interactive science exhibits, play areas, and workshops.

📍 Location: Near Children’s Grand Park. Take Subway Line 7 to Children’s Grand Park Station, exit 1. The museum is a short walk from the station.

5. Enjoy the View from N Seoul Tower

A trip to Seoul isn’t complete without visiting N Seoul Tower. The cable car ride is an adventure on its own, and kids will love the observatory decks, digital experiences, and love lock area.

📍 Location: Gyeongbokgung Station. Take Subway Line 3 to Gyeongbokgung Station, exit 5. It’s a short walk from the station.

You can also rent a traditional Hanbok which can add to the experience (and get some great photos!). Unfortunately it was FREEZING when we visited, so we opted not to do this. Hanboks can be rented for around ₩10,000–₩20,000 (~$11.50–$23 AUD) for 1–2 hours.
💡 Tip: Rent a hanbok before visiting—it gives you free palace entry!

8. Explore the High-Tech Fun at TeamLab World

This interactive digital art museum lets your kids have fun while drawing, playing and interarcting with moving exhibits.

📍 Location: Insadong. Take Subway Line 3 to Anguk Station, exit 6. Walk about 5-10 minutes.
